Frequently Asked Questions:

 Q: The game just says Loading… and the button says "waiting…" 

A: Please try disabling "Documents and Data" for gunner Z in your device's iCloud settings.  This problem indicates iCloud is not responding to our queries, and this is a good workaround for the time being. 

 

 Q: I updated to version 1.11 and now I just see "waiting for icloud: save counter mismatch"

A: Upgrade to version 1.12.  You will get a popup with information about the save file the game found.  Please review the information carefully and once you're satisfied the save is correct, tap "YES" and you can continue as normal.

 

 Q: I completed something from the "free BX" button, but don't have any BX yet

A: Most offers from TapJoy (our partner who handles the Free BX button for us) take some time to process.  Each offer usually indicates how long it will take.  For further information see the TapJoy Support Page

 

 Q: I haven't beaten mission 30 yet and new missions won't unlock

A: You probably have an invaded mission. You must defeat invasions before new missions will unlock.

 

Q: The game will not run on my jailbroken device

A: While Gunner Z will run fine on jailbroken devices, if you have apps installed on your jailbroken device which interfere with the In-App Purchase verification system or otherwise tamper with the app's integrity the app may crash. Uninstall any IAP subversion apps and the game should run fine.

Q: I don't have an iPodTouch4G, I have one of the supported devices and the game still closes at the logo when I try to launch it, or closes while I'm loading into the game

A: Luckily, the solution is pretty straight forward.  Close all background apps and restart your phone.  This may seem silly, but nine times out of ten it works!  This is because iOS will hold onto memory as time goes on, and often if you haven't restarted your phone in quite a while it won't have enough space for Gunner Z to run.  (The game is relatively intense graphically and needs quite a bit of memory!)

 

Q: When I launch Gunner Z it closes immediately, without showing any logos at all.

A: This means you need to update to iOS 5.0 or later on your device.  To check the version of iOS go to settings->general->about and check out the line that says 'Version'.  There is a number next to "Version' which is the version of iOS currently installed.
